Brain&Mind Symposium

We are happy to invite you to the Annual Brain & Mind Symposium on September 21st-22nd 2017 in the main building of the University of Helsinki, Finland!

Please register before 15.8.

This year’s symposium will cover many current topics of neuroscience including therapeutic use of psychedelic drugs, large scale brain dynamics, acid sensing ion channels and neural networks of the retina, and the inhibitory circuitry of the brain.

Dr. Jordi Riba (Biomedical Research Institute of Sant Pau, Spain)
Dr. Gregor Thut (University of Glasgow, UK)
Dr. Jens Hjerling-Leffler (Karolinska Institutet, Sweden)
Dr. Thomas Euler (University of Tübingen, Germany)
Dr. Biyu He (NYU School of Medicine, USA)
We will also have a workshop by Dr. Katherine Button from University of Bath about scientific rigor.

Students attending all lectures and workshops will get 1 ECTS and 1 ECTS for a poster presentation. We would also like to encourage postdocs and other researchers to present their results at the poster session.
