NeuroGrads rock at their yearly winter school

Science

is so much more than just diving into one’s studies in a secluded laboratory. Nowadays one must bridge disciplines, collaborate, network, and communicate one’s results to be truly impactful.

Winter School 2025

120 NeuroGrads joined our yearly NeuroGrad Winter School earlier this week and gave amazing presentations (3rd year students), presented awesome posters (2nd year students), which were all evaluated by our 1st year students. In between, the NeuroGrads embrazed the opportunity of networking across disciplines spanning from molecular neuroscience to post-stroke recovery.

The NeuroGrads are so full of energy and enthusiasm, and have gone out of their way to create fantastic presentations – which makes the event so enjoyable for all of us (senior researchers could learn so much about clear and concise scientific presentation from this crowd!). No better setting to get a quick overview of the  neuroscience that goes on in the greater Copenhagen area, which several supervisors took advantages of.

Thanks to Ainoa K. Pilkati from Gether lab for contributing this year’s NeuroGrad Winter School cup, to Professor Morten Kringelbach for an awesome key note presentation on ‘Pleasure’, Trine&Trine for co-organizing, and Claire Meehan, Birgitte Kornum, Mie Kristensen, Alex Walter, Mikkel Vestergaard, Hartwig Siebner, and Christina Kruuse for Chairing posters and oral sessions.
